Units undertaking to export their entire production of goods and services are set up under the Export Oriented Unit (EOU) Scheme. The purpose of the scheme is basically to boost exports by creating additional production capacity. OCI has been granted the status of a 100% EOU by the Government of India, as there is immense potential for exporting the medical devices manufactured by OCI.
